A Passion for Chaos, a favorite among many New York readers; it tells the story of four Black professionals who enjoy sincere friendship. Jordan, a Psychologist loves and needs his family, but struggles with infidelity. His wife has forgiven him far too much and heard too many well-constructed lies. She seeks comfort in the arms of his friend, Lester, a brilliant Attorney. Together they plot to kill Jordan and Lester's girlfriend. They leave them in an outhouse in the woods to die. So begins a tale of mind games, suspense, romance and adventure. Nothing is as it seems in this thrilling tale until it's twisted happy ending.

A Passion for Chaos: “I became invested in the fate of the characters, their circumstances, and their need for excitement (at any cost) from the beginning, and I was not disappointed at the end. The novel is set in Harlem, and chronicles the lives of four black professionals. Jordan, Nicole, Lester, and Tracy all show up on the pages of the book with a sense of urgency. And I was obliged to keep up with their stories. Intricate stories that highlight infidelity, murder, breaks from reality, suspense, and absolute chaos. Lit D Reads recommends ’A Passion for Chaos’, and we hope you enjoy reading the book with us this month.”

A Passion for Chaos: “This book is centered on two couples, Jordan and wife Nicole, Lester and his girlfriend Tracey. Jordan and Lester are childhood friends. The couples become fast friends and inseparable. The problems begin with Jordan being a cheater and starts to neglect his wife to the point that she runs into the arms of his friend Lester who is secretly obsessed with her. The plot thickens when Lester and Nicole share a vision on how to get rid of their significant others. They both get scared when the attempt to murder them fails and their lives start to unravel with fear of the unknown when they don't know what happened to them, or where they will end up. That's when a Passion for Chaos begins. This book is a real page turner filled with suspense and thriller plots, twists with highs and lows that will have you not wanting to put it down and trying to get to the end. The Craving and the Cross: While vampire stories are really not what I read, I truly enjoyed this one. It was a different take on good versus evil. The writer gave an excellent account of how far one person would go to destroy another person. The Craving and The Cros kept my attention and I look forward to reading more from this author. Do Clones Have Souls: I have to admit I don't read books as much as I would like to, but this book captured my attention from the very begining. I couldn't put it down once I started to read it. I read it in one weekend. "Do Clones Have Souls" is a unique subject that really makes you think about life, clones, politics, love, faith. I highly recommend this book. I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Highly recommend this book to fans of sci-fi, political thrillers and anyone who loves the work of the late great Octavia Butler. The previous Amazon reviewer gave enough info so I won't repeat. The book is also humorous and contains many parallels to the world we find ourselves in now. The characters are exciting; the plot twists are engaging and the concept is fresh. The paradox of the title is that it just may be that clones are the only ones who really do have souls - read the book and judge for yourself!
